The 4th YESA workshop in Ehime University

“Effect of heterogeneities on mantle dynamics” (poster) (program)

The 4th Young Earth Scientist Association (YESA) workshop will be held at Geodynamics Research Center on 1-2 September, 2011. This workshop aims to have valuable discussion of recent studies about Mantle dynamics. Nowadays, the Earth’s internal dynamics is studied by experimental, seismological, and numerical methods. In the workshop, we expect new interpretations of heterogeneities in the mantle and their implications for the internal dynamics and evolution in the Earth and planets. We cordially invite a lot of young researches including students to join this workshop.

Date September 1-2, 2011.
Venue Geodynamics Research Center, Ehime University, Matsuyama, Japan
